always waves       first
states the first hello.
always covered
blotchy scars.
inside her heart
forgotten behind
slipping into the new
scared, shaken,
lost shadow now.
her future
heartache, pain, and sorrow
her choices
her destruction
she drifts like a shadow
her speech
could persuades.
However words evade
down like ink
into deep mist
her mind
she speaks like a shadow
her finger on the blade
she just can’t seem to make the cuts
she’s whispering this poem
holding back tears before
they fall
she feels like a shadow
she is one….
