Puzzle; or, a Walk on the Moon

by Robert Beydler

Her only piece to sell, her soul and sea to keep
What a frustrating puzzle to have, such a living color to be
The lonely hat in a well and a breathing sundress to weep
Such a beautiful view to have, what a walk on the moon to breathe

My virtuous friend through time, she is someone special to me

A deathly thing to tell, the toll and sea too deep
An impossible life to live, such a frustrating person to be
None of herself to give, the pleads of pleads and pleads
Such a beautiful world she had, what a tragic death to see

My virtuous friend through time, she was someone special to me
